Melanie Bagby is the leader Sonoma County needs to represent the Fourth District with vision, experience, and a commitment to our shared values. As a two-term Cloverdale City Councilmember and former mayor, she has already demonstrated the ability to guide her community through crises, from devastating floods and fires to extended power outages, while bringing people together to solve problems.
Bagby has also built deep regional experience, serving on boards such as Sonoma Clean Power, SMART, and the Sonoma County Transportation and Climate Authority. This background gives her the expertise to tackle the district’s biggest challenges: housing affordability, climate resilience, and building a strong local economy that works for working families.
Just as importantly, Melanie understands that environmental protection, economic opportunity, and community well-being go hand in hand. She is committed to sustainable transportation, resilient water systems, and local food and job creation that strengthen our communities.
District 4 deserves a supervisor who can lead, collaborate, and deliver, and Melanie Bagby is ready to do exactly that.
